Blues & Jazz Solo Techniques

This workshop will explore the different responsibilities and opportunities of the band’s rhythm section as it relates to ensemble playing and improvisational soloing. Chord patterns, clichés, and expected musical interactions will be discussed and demonstrated. Instructed by Chicago Blues Hall of Famer and School of Rock Mokena keys instructor Brian Vollriede.
